Happy with the community outing

Went to a community outing The Purple Cat organized last weekend. It was really fun! They had some of the handcrafted items from their workshop for sale, and I picked up a cool little ceramic piece. Everyone was friendly, and it was nice to see what they do. Good vibe overall.

Good value for a good cause

I was looking to support a local charity and found The Purple Cat. I made a donation and received a tax-deductible receipt quickly. It felt good to contribute to their programs for adults with disabilities. The process was straightforward, and I felt my money was well-spent.

Positive experience, minor wait

I enrolled my son in their vocational training program last month. The intake process was thorough and the staff were very helpful in explaining everything. He's really enjoying the culinary arts training. My only slight issue was that it took a bit longer than I expected to get an initial response after my first inquiry, maybe 3-4 business days. Once we were connected though, everything moved smoothly. The program itself is excellent and truly beneficial.

Consistent support for my sister

My sister has been attending The Purple Cat's day program for three years now. We first enrolled her after seeing their focus on life skills coaching. Each year, the staff has been consistently supportive and understanding. The activities like creative arts classes keep her engaged. It's why we keep coming back; the reliability is key for us.

Detailed program enrollment for my son

I recently went through the program enrollment for my son in their day program. The initial contact was through their website inquiry form, and I received a call back within a week to schedule an assessment. The team guided me through all the eligibility requirements and explained how Medicaid would cover some costs. We chose the program that included both life skills coaching and access to the sensory room. The facility itself was clean and felt welcoming during our tour. He started last week, and the transportation services have been punctual. I also appreciated the option for family support groups, which I plan to utilize soon. Overall, the process was clear, and the support staff were knowledgeable, addressing all my concerns about his individualized service plan.
